Craig brings more than 20 years of recruitment experience, specialising in Sales, Marketing, Category Management and NPD appointments across the UK FMCG and consumer sectors. His earlier career with Unilever provided valuable first-hand industry experience, which has helped him build an extensive network and a strong understanding of the commercial demands facing both clients and candidates.
 

In November 2012, Craig joined a London-based recruitment start-up - Vertical Advantage, to establish its first regional office. The Midlands office opened in April 2013, supporting FMCG businesses across the Midlands and North of England.
 

Craig launched Henson Recruitment in January 2016, creating a specialist consultancy built around targeted search, honest advice and a highly personalised service. Based in Auckland, New Zealand since 2021, he remains fully hands-on in every UK assignment, working directly with clients and personally identifying, approaching and assessing the talent required to support their growth.
