Since 1988, Children with Cancer UK has raised over £250 million to support research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancers, and to provide better facilities for caring for children and their families. The founders, the O’Gorman family, whose son Paul’s life was cut short by childhood leukaemia, remain at the helm of what is now a team of over 50 people with offices opposite Great Ormond Street Hospital. Our mission is to improve survival rates and the quality of survival in young cancer patients, and to find ways to prevent cancer in the future. We fund ground-breaking research to help children with cancer. We raise awareness to inspire others to help. And we support families with our welfare projects.

Founded in 1891, Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. Our mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Today – Dogs Trust (formerly the NCDL) is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 15,000 dogs each year through a network of 20 rehoming centres in the UK. We have been involved in every piece of legislation affecting dogs over the past 126 years. Our supporters drive everything that we do at Dogs Trust. With no government funding for the delivery of our life-saving work, we never forget that it is only thanks to your generosity that we can be there for the thousands of dogs we care for and rehome, every year. Our supporters are at the heart of everything that we achieve as a charity, so supporting us should be a great experience.
