The role:
This senior marketing leadership role will see you define and deliver a best-in-class global social and content strategy that drives brand growth, engagement, and commercial performance. You’ll set the creative vision across paid and owned channels, leading end-to-end global campaigns from insight through to execution and optimization.
Working closely with brand, creative, digital, and media teams, you’ll deliver social-first, culturally relevant storytelling across TikTok, Instagram, websites, and CRM channels. The role balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution, scaling a global content engine while empowering local markets to build audiences and deliver content aligned to global standards. You’ll also lead and develop a specialist content team, championing the value of content internally and ensuring it delivers tangible business outcomes.
This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and our client is open to supporting UK-based candidates with relocation. You:
• 5+ years’ experience in content marketing, brand, or social roles, either in-house or agency-side
• Strong social-first experience, particularly across TikTok and Instagram, with proven success building and scaling audiences
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver content campaigns end-to-end, from strategy through to optimization
• Experience working in fast-paced environments, including London agencies, with the ability to translate insight into effective, brand-right content
• Deep awareness of social trends and platform innovation
• Experience building and managing content calendars across multiple owned channels
• Hands-on experience producing both scrappy and polished content formats at scale
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience mentoring or leading others, fostering creativity and collaboration
• A passion for storytelling, brand building, and creating content that delivers commercial impact
